Surprised at the number of V2’s-anyone know what they worked on?
9 other depots were visited in the NE and a grand total of 663 locos (diesels and steam) seen including those on the journey by train up to York/ North East . We caught a coach at Darlington (United) for moving around the area. We were not allowed to visit Gateshead, as it was being converted to diesel at the time, though we did manage a trip around York South shed that was home to a line of B16, Jinties and lots of pigeons. Will send some more when I get the energy if people like this kind of data. Hope the NE fans find this of interest
