The Force from you weakening it is, I see, young Brinkly. Strong you need to be. Resist the lure of the pretty engines you must!

I do like a nice Edwardian livery Master Kernow!

Susceptible you are, if seduced by small and pretty things you become, young Brinkly. Use the Force Young Master and put such fanciful notions aside. Strength you now need to avoid falling for an LNER prototype next!

  5. Did some modelling today - first time in 13 months!

  10. Was very interested to read on the BBC news website that no less than 6 properties in Ivybridge are owned by overseas companies! Very interested to know which one.

Not the Sportmans Arms & The Imperial?

    3. Brinkly

      Brinkly

There is something going on! For far too long, the Cornish have exerted too much influence over the Western parts of Ivybridge.

As it stands, we know the Sportsmans Arms is still own by Mr Hubard; however, we do not know if it is an 'English' company!

Some of the teachers in the school that backs on to our house should be in a lunatic asylum, let alone the pupils.

  21. Has had a nice evening playing with a loop of track, a Triang Freight Master set and a Well Tank! Amazing how the motors in 00 locos have improved since the 1960s!

    1. Chris Higgs

      Chris Higgs

Well you would hope that 50+ years would deliver some form of progress. Epsecially as go back 50 years and the trains would have been powered by clockwork.

  22. Currently 'running-in' my Heljan 1366 class loco. Lily, our collie, isn't sure!

      Captain Kernow

You must have confused her, Nick. In Yorkshire, collies were traditionally used to round up J72s and other LNER locos.

  23. Has really enjoyed watching WestWorld - brilliant story lines, some of which I predicted! Great stuff! Shame it has finished for a while.
