There's a perverse joy in walking 1/2 mile to the local shop, walking back & seeing the same cars still there!

  3. Oh No! Whilst tidying up I've come across my old Lima Great Western Trains HST in Merlin colours! This could be a disaster!

I spent most of the day involving various children in 'pranks' on various members of staff... chairs were moved, a vacuum cleaner hidden and ontop of that, I did manage to teach 5 high-quality lessons...

  8. Is giving his SECR H Class a good run. I had forgotten how pretty the Edwardian livery was.

Susceptible you are, if seduced by small and pretty things you become, young Brinkly. Use the Force Young Master and put such fanciful notions aside. Strength you now need to avoid falling for an LNER prototype next!

The majority of "grown up" television is pitched at a 12 year old level as this was the level which was found to be most inclusive to the "grown up" demographic. I'm joking either!

  13. Picture the scene. We (teachers) are not meant to check our emails during class time; fair enough, we are working. So one of the middle leaders sends an email out at 3:11 (children go home at 3:15) saying 'Please retain a set of books for September so we can check the coverage.' Email the day before was 'Send all books home today!' Honestly, some people have no common sense.

hahah! Yeah Tim hours and minutes are always a place for confusion! 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, but 24 hours in a day, explain that to a 4 yearold before you even go down the route of 1/4, 1/2 and 1/4 too!
