David Bigcheeseplant
We have just been informed that the brand new and shorter entry road Stadium approach will not now be open to July, so entry to the stadium this year as in previous years will still be via Harvey Road by the fish and chip shop. We will be running our vintage route master bus each day from the railway station car park to Railex, so we recomend car visitors park in the Friarscroft car park by the rear of Morrisons and catch our vintage bus to Railex, Viki will be on board dressed up selling programmes. If you arrive early you can still purchace a ticket, buy breakfast in the cafe and wait in the balcony area till the show opens, we will hire in more tables and chairs this year so there will be more places to sit down in the cafe. Kenton
Will there still be the parking available at the Hospital as last year? This was very convenient (and free) with only a simple stroll through to the stadium via the back gates and well guided by the friendly Railex Team. I guess the school is still asking blood money and being non-cooperative.

David Bigcheeseplant
Will there still be the parking available at the Hospital as last year? This was very convenient (and free) with only a simple stroll through to the stadium via the back gates and well guided by the friendly Railex Team. We hope to have at least one of the staff car parks to use; they have put barriers on a couple of the smaller ones we have used in the past, although if things do get tight there is the hospital pay and display. There is also on street parking on the school side, please if parking on roads be considerate to those who live there and don’t block drives etc. We do recommend parking in the Friarscroft car park by Morrison’s in town and getting our Routemaster bus to and from Railex. I guess the school is still asking blood money and being non-cooperative. Yes for some extra income and for the small effort of locking and unlocking the gate they don’t seem to want our or other peoples business. We still don’t know if the new access road will be open or not, the stadium don’t think it will open till July although it is finished and it only remains for a mesh fence to be moved to open it up, There was a photo and article in the local rag of the official cutting the ribbon stuff to open the road, so I think it will be a case of see what the situation is close to Railex weekend, and follow the signs we put up.
