Popular Post bgman
In other news..... I am currently in a sort of limbo waiting for a house move and as a result there hasn't been any "real" modelling done unfortunately. However, after looking at a previous card built model and being unhappy with it I decided to revamp the building and replace this.... With a plasticard built version drawn and cut out on my Silhouette last night..... From which I got this version.... Just a few alterations were made and I am now happier, both with the building and also being able to carry out a bit of modelling. Here it is with the original roof "plonked" on just to get a feeling for the thing. A majority of my tools etc are packed away in readiness for the move so I thought a bit of small scale ( 7mm ) modelling might help to keep that mojo thingy ( whatever that is ? ) going. RMweb Gold Limpley Stoker Posted April 16, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 16, 2019 That building looks really neat. I am about to make a similar timber framed station building for my version of Limpley Stoke. It has been on my back burner for over 10 years! I planned to build up the frame with pre painted styrene strips but that looks so much simpler for a professional finish. 1

Hope you feel better soon. Thanks Mikkel. the shot is even better if I get rid of the ghastly blue backdrop. I do like this angle. 13 1 1

Brilliant Grahame - just the sort of project for which the cutter is ideal. The chimneys on the original roof adds a lot of character, hope you'll keep these. Thank you Mikkel, ( and to everyone else who ticked the likes etc ) its a modellers delight having the cutter and as you say, just the sort of project to use it on. Yes I have surgically removed the very top of the roof and kept it for the final build. G 2
