Andrew P
Back to Matters Pencarne Back home in time for a quick run down to Pencarne to see the Lunchtime Service from St Davids come through before a Late Lunch. Today it's Plymouth that has the Duty. It has only 25Minutes at Pen, so just enough time to disgorge the Passengers and re fill, and for the Station Staff to exchange the contents of the Baggage Van and also for the Loco Crew to perform the Run Round and re couple before the Signal is cleared for the Right of way down to Wadebridge and Padstow. I think there's a Goods Service due through later.

Andrew P
Your right Clive, many a Withered Arm working from the Atlantic Coast Express with just a Single Coach, so the good folk of Pen were really lucky to have 3 and a Baggage today. Andrew P
Later came a Goods working, it was a through from Exeter Riverside Yard with Van for Wenford Bridge and Two Vans and an Oil Tank for the MOD Bolventor Depot. RMweb Premium Bogie Posted April 26, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 26, 2016 I'm relieved to see the pub is back for the thirsty locals of Pencarne after its sojourn at Porth Merryn. Mind you I suspect the locals would have done a double take when they looked out the window and saw Plymouth pulling into Pencarne.

Andrew P
Morning All, Not a lot of action forecast for today, because I'm out most of the Day, but maybe some Steam action pics later, but as I posted in ER earlier. Another Year Older, (Definitely) Another Year Wiser, (probably NOT, better ask the Wife) Another Year richer, (in mind and spirit) Another Year poorer, (in the Pocket) Another Year Happier, (I'm still breathing, that has to be good news) Another Year Healthier, (definitely not, more aches and pains than this time last Year) BUT I'm still here, and that's worth an awful lot to me, Thank you Lord.. 66 = Clickity Click. aforsyth
Happy Birthday Andy! I only discovered this thread a week ago, so have slowly worked through 102 earlier pages of modelling adventure ... only since last August! Just amazing, but you really are a scenery master, and excellent tips, thank you. Well done and congrats on 66 - maybe you should buy one (the loco) with suitable nameplate added... "Andy P - Layout Magician" :-) Cheers,Alan
