So much nicer than those 'orrible Kadees, good choice.

Think I've seen a video of them operated from an onboard mechanism controlled by a DCC function; have certainly seen something like that for AJs. Something to consider when it comes to building the stock?

Yes indeed, that film is Zamzoodled's own research/develoment/demonstration.  I think he operates them by onboard memory wire, but they can be made to uncouple via undertrack magnet.

I've got some to try out, but converting all my stock is a daunting prospect!

Cheers, Dave.

These little beauties turned up this morning from Zam-Zoodled...

They really capture the looks of the prototype and the quality is exceptional (unlike my ability to photograph them)

I have a couple of packets of these and the fitting jig, but not fitted any to stock yet. They look good and watching the video seem to work well. Apparently they will not couple/uncouple on curves though

Interesting new project to follow Damian

What happened to the 7mm Scottish diesel project? :O

Er?

It disappeared down the pub urinals along with the pineapple cubes...

But this is going to be an excellent project....

Just blowing the froth off a couple in Copenhagen with this view tonight...

Best leave that one there I think  Enjoy your trip!

I'm actually in quite a lot of trouble at present.

Black Country blues goes to Halifax this weekend. I wasn't booked to go.

I'm on my way to Oslo via Gothenburg.

No problem you may think,

But, turns out I've got the tunnel board in my trailer in the garage....

I think a layout at Scaleforum used Zamzoodle couplings. It was Fangfoss a Scandinavian (Norwegian ) layout

The gap between the coaches look a bit big, but I could either be wrong or they were spaced out on purpose

Lovely layout if a bit eccentric in some of the baseboard methods

I'll have a look out while I'm up here although the trains look a little strange;

The outer is rubber and squishes up when they couple, the cab section in the middle then hinges out of the way like a door! Yes really, so you can walk through!

This was my window.

They clearly build their trains "up to a specification" rather than "down to a price".
