Thanks for that, and to Barclay.  I see that this is 2% silver.   In another thread, somebody mentioned how nice the 2% silver formulation flowed, so I'll try some of that.  From memory, the old multicore savbit included some copper, to prevent tip erosion,

This hasn't been an easy job, not helped by the Jidenco kit not being complete but it looks right and runs well.

Michael,

That is VERY nice indeed - shows that Jidenco / Falcon Brass kits are not beyond redemption; contrary to oft-received opinion!

A short video to show that huge frame cutouts round bogie wheels are not neceessary.

This shows the loco running round my vicious 28" radius reverse curve, it is a pure reverse curve incidentally, no straight bit in the middle. "Designed" on the basis that if it will go round this it will be OK on almost anything.

It's not been easy or quick but I'm really pleased with this loco.

I think it looks very fine Michael a great job given the difficulties of the Jidenco KIt. I am building an Adams T6 4-40 at the moment, also from Jidenco....

Kind regards,

That's absolutely stunning Mike.

It gives me the impetus to get my A into G and get my Jidenco B1 underway!

Would you mind explaining what the brass beams do, please Michael?

I thought beams linked two pairs of wheels?

Yes please to more details . I assume the swinging  beams rotate around the fulcrum of the pins . I guess therefore that the height/depth of the knife edge is critical ? How do you determine the measurement ?

Thanks
