And depending on how accurate you want to portray your models - which period you are representing.  £7422 has already been mentioned a number of times in this thread, but this loco has had evolving details for a number of years, such as black headcodes, numbering etc etc.  Obviously rule 1 takes care of all of this !!

That’s one expensive loco! Don’t go giving them ideas…

seen a couple of images on FB of the EWS "ghost" engines in all white. 37885 was one of them.

Wonder if this might be in the Accurasale crosshairs

Fixed the link for you. On flickr if you click the share button (curved arrow going leftwards) you get a much shorter URL that embeds the photo on this forum if you just paste it in.

Is anyone using Gaugemaster model GMC-HH handheld feedback controllers with their Accurascale 37s?

I have a small exhibition layout that uses these.  However, I gather that the advice is not to use them with locos using the latest ESU circuit boards.

Before I go out and buy Gaugemaster non feedback controllers, I wanted to double check.

I've been adding parts from the detailing pack to one of my 37s today but I have no idea where the four small parts at the bottom of the photo below are supposed to go?

Looks like the cosmetic mounting brackets for the centre section of the snow plough. Part no 82. Not needed on voyage dependant on your prototype.

If I may, do we know when another batch of Loksound V5’s are due for the 37’s? Ideally I’m after one Un-refurbished and a couple of refurb ones, I’d assume they would be due when the next batch comes into stock but I never assume

Well it’s seems to have been eons since I payed for her, and to be honest I was thinking it was part of the second batch. But today I had a parcel delivered from Accurascale. 37 609 has arrived. Now sitting in front of me with her stable mate 37 607. Yeah I’m impressed all over again the livery is out-siding. Some tiny little differences between the two sure I’ll find a few more in time. She just needs a sound decoder now a light weathering and she can be put to work with her sister on the nuclear wagons.

very happy

waiting not so patiently for 258 to arrive now. Could we have some more rail freight in the 3rd batch please.

Been very happy with all my accurascale 37s so far, only one suffered with derailments, but soon fixed it as it was chassis to bogie chain and sanding pipe..

Good job really, because if they'd applied the livery inside the loco you'd be less likely to see it.

Finally managed to get two of my Accurascale DRS Class 37’s out of their boxes, along with the KUA wagons on Market Deeping MRC’s test track as my Cumbrian Coast line layout is still waiting for the wood butchering to start. They drew a lot of interesting comments and now waiting for the pair of Mk2E BSO escort coaches from Rainbow Railways to make it complete.

Any news on when there's likely another announcement on a third batch of Class 37's?  Is it likely after the second batch has arrived and been dispatched and all happy 😊

Hi,

I've just had 37001 (digital sound) back from an 'Accurascale Works visit', but for the life of me I can't remember if when it left it had the 'brake grind' as the loco comes to a stand. (this isn't the sound that is played when the brake function is applied). I did look on YT and it does appear to have this sound??

Also, I presume to get the flange/rail squeal to work around corners with the Hall sensor F11needs to be pressed? Because at the moment with F11 pressed flange/rail squeal sound is always on no matter if on a straight or curve and without F11 pressed there's no sound at all.

I've tried decoder reset for both issues but this didn't change anything, I've contacted support, but while I wait a reply is there any CVs I could possibly change?

Thanks

The flange squeel could be crap on the hall sensor…

Ah thanks sulzer, that might explain when F11 pressed the flange squeal stays on no matter what & when I've been driving slow enough around a bend/points I can hear additional rail crank/squeal in the background. Will try driving (slowly) with F11 off and see if flange sequel works on corners etc.
