Will the 37s have drivers available to buy too please?

As per Deltic thread, if they are successful for the Deltic, Fran said they would consider them for other locos.

But surely one could use the same figures, they're not Deltic specific, once the pre '69 ones are for sale, I will order for Accu. Deltic, Class 37, H/by RR class 73, Baccy. Class 121 Dr/car, and Baccy. class 108 DMU.

It all depends on where things like the power handle are. Accurascale like to do things right, so may have different poses to suit specific classes.

Modelu do drivers for specific loco's and eras. They could maybe team up?

They already have, that is how the Deltic drivers have come about.

We would plan to produce bespoke crew for all of our locomotives which have been perfectly fitted to our seats and consoles. (Or footplates)

Can we have them checking the loco out before setting off or even climbing in the loco just in case you model depot scenes only 😉🤭🤦‍♂️

Does anyone know time period 37027 Loch Eil carried the white stripe as seen on the Accurascale model. From the photographs I have seen it would seem to be limited to 1983.

Hi Dicky,

Summer 83  to Spring 84 for that one!

A great period of history if you ask me, being of that vintage myself!

Cheers!

My next question is does the white line come off as easily as the numbers🤣

Mine’s keeping its stripe. It’s a nice change from plain Banger Blue, plus I can summon up enough locos from that precise period if I want to. I tend to blur the edges (of the time period, not stripes on locos) a little bit most of the time, though.

It’s amazing when you look back how short those time frames actually were but seemed like forever at the time.

83 to 84 white stripe

late 84/early 85 to early 86 large logo

Early 86 de named as 37/4s took over

86/7 generally gone or converted to 37/5 or 7.

All that in basically 4 years, I’ve been trying to work out how to run a white stripe with a large logo and it’s almost impossible yet only 12 months covers the period.

However if you run a 12-18 month sequence you can buy loads!

37264 was Eastfield’s first large logo 37 and appeared in May 84 so you can have both together for that very short period. I’m hoping that my subtle hint isn’t wasted 😉

There are a few that do overlap just not many, The thing is I have 043 on order and I think that was mid 85 into LL. I have wondered about renumbering it to 081 which I think went LL in mid/late 84 but not sure I’m brave enough.

There’s also the option of trying to get the white stripe off and having plain blue with headlight but not sure how easy that will be either.
