It's the autumn of 1947 and the country is gripped by a coal shortage hence we see GWR oil burner 4855 being used on a coal turn to the west from Stoke Gifford.

Just needs the Driver to switch the lights around first.

Shunting completed there's now a short while before the evening goods is due to leave.  Goods Guard John George has placed and checked his tail and sidelights.  Off-duty Driver Higgs has elected to hitch a lift on the van's veranda as there isn't room for three on the B4's footplate,

I'm just being grumpy today and looking at the 'realistic' part of the topic title. It's by no means the only one but it's caught me on a bad day. A domino 25 on brown and cream Mk1 stock with unpainted track? From my OP "most inspiring and realistic imagery"; I'm sure you think my perspective subjective but I'm not alone.

 

That element just needs a reset now.

Sorry Jay I missed this the other day, and thank you for the kind words , here is the previous thread I posted the models in but sadly the majority of pictures have gone now! here is the link
