RMweb Premium Legend Posted March 17, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 17, 2023 Well as I go on , and on , and on .......................... really hope its my 313/314/315/507/508 but suspect from hints else where , unless its mischievous misdirection, that its going to be a kettle But I am hoping , I mean Ally Pally obvious place to announce a 313 2
RMweb Gold TravisM Posted March 17, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 17, 2023 From the hints on Accurascale’s Facebook page, it’s a steam loco. I was hoping for a 73/9, but we’ve got the rest of the year to wait for that.
XChris
The description said “put the kettle on 😉“ so it’s either a steam engine or such a large announcement you’ll need a brew while they go through it 🤷♂️ 1

I was going to suggest there should be something to distinguish between say steam and diesel/ old and modern annoucements, so those with an aversion to kettles or old stuff can keep our froth fresh and vice versa.....a 73/9 would be most excellent, a steam loco is meh for me.

Northmoor MPD
The Accurascale website says “Announcements”… could be a typo though as it also says Accura ‘sale’ so we know the locomotive will be cheap 😂😂 1

RMweb Gold adb968008 Posted March 17, 2023 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 17, 2023 I dont see an invitation to Cheshire fire service, and its not live from Wilmslow.* So its not a an EMU or DMU. *3 units have sacrificed themselves in Wilmslow (2x175 and a 323) in a month, plus another 175 in Crewe and a fifth (a 465 in the south). So if its a naturally occurring fire device, my bets on big number repeats… MN, 8F, B5 with outsiders being a Saint, or perhaps following recent events with the 66… how about Andrew Barclays ?
