Nope - it's not April the 1st !!

No it isn't.

I'm being up front about what it is and that it is appealing; and why not? It would have been available for an industrial user to acquire from Bagnall.

Anyway; they're already selling.

a locomotive type used where restricted headroom is available due to bridges and other structures and suitable for tight curvature.

Pedantically, from experience of 0-4-0's, the model won't be suitable for overly tight curvatures due to the overhang of the coupling from the wheelbase.

Take the cab off, and it's almost one of these as featured in the Quirky poll...

Having worked out that the internet isn't, apparently, free I thought we'd best do something about it.

It would be a crime because.

I have no need for it

Don't need it

Absolutely don't need it

Damn ... ordering it and running for president to pardon myself later.

“a locomotive type used where restricted headroom is available due to bridges and other structures…”

If you fancy a compact, multi-level layout, you won’t need such a long incline to clear the tunnel at the lower level. The blue does look lovely. There’s a chance as well to affix nameplates bearing the name of a female one needs to impress (assuming she isn’t Judy). Add to all that, Modelu will produce a suitably hunched crew for the little machine. Sound too. All good.

Did anyone ever name a loco "SWMBO" ?  Sounds a bit Welsh.

NCB writing is the wrong font……..

Fictional liveries don’t sell…….

Thought I’d get in there first!

NCB writing

T-cut the NCB off - get your own Bagnall works number from Light Railway Stores https://www.lightrailwaystores.co.uk/products/npp-2104?_pos=1&_sid=22873a2b2&_ss=r and your own choice of nameplates for the tanks - https://www.lightrailwaystores.co.uk/collections/nameplate-styles

I look forward to seeing what folks do with them.

Wasn't this the first exclusive loco for RMWeb? Or is that best forgotten about?

Yeah; I'd forgotten that but it's the first World of Railways/BRM/RMweb loco project.
