JeffP
I saw him as I was coming out and he was cheerful enough. And less of the sarky comments about the rate of my builds, you lot! BTW: my models are going with me to France AGAIN...let's see if darker nights result in any work done.
steve fay
Hopefully he's going to come back and Suprise us all with some of his usual top notch modelling
Horsetan
...less of the sarky comments about the rate of my builds, you lot! You do tend to bring these things upon yourself, though. Great opportunity for comedy. If we can't laugh, we might as well model in SM32. ...: my models are going with me to France AGAIN...let's see if darker nights result in any work done. It'll be dark. You won't be able to see anything.

RMweb Premium 2ManySpams Posted October 7, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 7, 2014 Ozzy, as a relative newcomer to this kit building lark I'm completely in awe at the skills and results gained in your thread. I'm currently at the stage of trying to find a right looking chimney for my 1366 and see you went there with your GWR tank earlier in the thread. Unfortunately I'm not able to call upon a lathe so it's trawling around cottage industries for me! Such fun ;-p
steve fay
What about the warren shepherd castings possibly the 16xx pannier chimney
RMweb Premium 2ManySpams Posted October 7, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 7, 2014 It's a Warren Sheppard I've got, no idea which one though as he gave me what he thought was his best fit to the drawing. It's a smidge over 1mm too fat and looks it.
steve fay
I was just about to edit that, yes it does look to fat

I must admit to having already nicked that from your thread Ozzy. Very useful as it's the only version I've seen with the numbers legible. Many thanks.
