AMJ
If it has not been mentioned earlier the ones on the hill cart road in Indian Himalayas are great. Ones include:- Hurry Burry spoils the Curry Give blood to the blood bank not on the road There are many others including one about it's better to arrive late than be late (as in deceased)! bluebottle
Fair dos, our favourite Ex-Veep runs an excellent pie shop! (establishment depicted is, in fact, Lily's Family Bakery, Owlerton, Sheffield, which does indeed purvey first-class food) Edited December 29, 2015 by bluebottle

RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted January 1, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 1, 2016 The West Wales Anarchist has been busy despite the appalling weather lately. The Welsh Merry Christmas sign has indeed been changed - to a question mark. Entering Pentrecwrt from the north is a 'Why Am I Here' sign - presumably he only has one '?' which was used on the other sign. Also the 'I need a sign' sign has reappeared, this time about a mile north of its last location.
BG John
I frequently ask that question, especially during the twice daily squelching, splashing and slipping dog walk round my mud bath of a wood!

RMweb Premium melmerby Posted January 15, 2016 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 15, 2016 (edited) In the West Midlands we have lots of these hi-tech bus stops which give accurate indications of bus times, being radio controlled and receiving real time data from the bus positions on the road. You can see from this example the destination of the buses from this stop and the time the bus will depart: Unfortunately this is the Birmingham terminus and the 82 bus actually goes to Bearwood and the 87 bus goes to Dudley! Isn't technology wonderful? Keith Edited January 15, 2016 by melmerby
RJS1977
It's about as useful as those wonderfully expensive display boards on the Underground, which instead of telling you when the next train's due in spend most of their time telling you which line you're on - which can be done just as well with a metal sign or a piece of paper!

RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted January 25, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 25, 2016 I did wonder if it was feministas making a statement about having to hop around due to there never being enough cubicles.
