If it has not been mentioned earlier the ones on the hill cart road in Indian Himalayas are great.

Ones include:-

Hurry Burry spoils the Curry

Give blood to the blood bank not on the road

There are many others including one about it's better to arrive late than be late (as in deceased)!

The West Wales Anarchist has been busy despite the appalling weather lately. The Welsh Merry Christmas sign has indeed been changed - to a question mark. Entering Pentrecwrt from the north is a 'Why Am I Here' sign - presumably he only has one '?' which was used on the other sign. Also the 'I need a sign' sign has reappeared, this time about a mile north of its last location.

In the West Midlands we have lots of these hi-tech bus stops which give accurate indications of bus times, being radio controlled and receiving real time data from the bus positions on the road.

You can see from this example the destination of the buses from this stop and the time the bus will depart:

Unfortunately this is the Birmingham terminus and the 82 bus actually goes to Bearwood and the 87 bus goes to Dudley!

Isn't technology wonderful?

It's about as useful as those wonderfully expensive display boards on the Underground, which instead of telling you when the next train's due in spend most of their time telling you which line you're on - which can be done just as well with a metal sign or a piece of paper!
