...so will not be able to attend and partake of the excellent pasties.

Well, if it's any consolation, there's been a suggestion that I might be appointed Honorary Pasty Monitor at some point during the day. In which case there'll be strict qualifying criteria applied to distribution of said sustenance . Fresh parsnip anyone?

Either that or I'll be hidden from view doing the washing up...

Hi all,

My new O gauge layout is called "Poynton-sneer"

Hope the layout is better recieved than my attempts at humour!

Capt K - what's indiefattywhatsitabubble mean?

Ramblin Rich, I may be missing, but I can assure you, I'm not in action

Once again, I'm looking forward to this little gem of an event,

and to those of you who haven't been along to one of Captain K's days....

Go for it - you will not be dissapointed, better than many shows I've paid good money to get into...

Cheers

Marc

Looking forward to seeing the new one Marc!

Some tweaking on Netherhope Halt.

Some finer handrails fitted to the steps and the undergrowth has been 'highlighted' with fine green dust.

A de-foliated tree. The postiche foundation was originally much too thick.

And finally an 'arty-farty' snap!

The Great Trek North is under way. Sitting at Melbourne airport waiting the 02.40 flight. A right b****r of a time but these things have to be done.

If pasties are allocated on the basis of miles travelled I might need to place a top-up order ;)

BYO cup? I'll see what can be smuggled out of the holiday cottage!

Am starting to get a bit worried now! I still have a few corners to fill on my layout and the people and vehicles to finalise. Still got a loco to chip and 3 wagons to finish as well to enable more than 1 period to be run. Nothing like a deadline to push you tho.

Pah !

Still got track to lay on one module, wiring on all three, bridges to make, connecting leads to make, plus lots & lots of scenery work.

Plenty of time yet...

I am currently trying to put in the wiring (track laying will follow that/be done in parallel but - would you believe this - I can't find any flux anywhere locally apart from the plumber's stuff (which is no doubt meant for use with a flame and not a soldering iron).

Would anybody mind if I said I wouldn't mind if there were plenty of 'work in progress' layouts? Bit like the 'continuing story' of layouts being made on RMWeb...

Phew ! That's alright, then !!

Hi to all,

If you're intending to bring some stock to run on the Module Project on Sunday, please can you let me know (roughly) what it will be ?

Just so we can get an idea of how much stock we'll have to run and when.

Don't forget - it has to be OO DC only.

Ta

Stu
