RMweb Premium Physicsman Posted February 4, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) Hi Bill, Its strange that I have NEVER had that problem with the up load before, I have always picked and chosen which order I wanted the pics in. Maybe it has always been LUCK before. Even Older Old Old Lunie Blimey Andy, the way you go on about your age (almost as much as about my grass!!) - anyone would think you were over 50!! Quality vids and pics, as usual. Looking forward to your take on scenics in a forthcoming episode of Dallas Trebudoc.... Slightly younger Lune. Andrew P
Hi all, I have painted and fitted the Platform Benches and Lamps today that I picked up at Stafford on Saturday, both are white metal kits. The lamps are wired although I haven't conected up the wires underneath as yet. A whole day with my head over a tin of enamel paint has left me feeling pretty heady, but never mind. N15class
Hi Andrew I always load my pictures then insert them into the typed part. Then they stay in the order that you want no matter how they are down loaded.. Absolutly fantastic small layout, it has given me a few ideas.
Kev_Lewis
Great work there, Andy. All the little details really bring Trebudoc to life. Who are the platform lamps from? I think the coal man deserves a cuppa!
Andrew P
Morning all, Kev the Lamps are from Duncans Models and I picked mine up from Invertrains, he is a great guy to deal with, the lamps just need the wires connecting under the board, I may do that later on today, To all the rest of you Trebsters well thanks for the kind comments. I now feel that T is finished apart from the Signals that will come when Dapol release them, the wiring is in place readry for them. George says I need point rodding so I am going to look into this soon. Cheers Guys. Old Trebster
Kev_Lewis
Cheers for that, Andy. Something else to put on the list. Point rodding is definitely something to look in to. I added it near the end of building my OO layout and even in 4mm it made a big difference to the look of "completeness".
Andrew P
Hi All, I have spent a hour today wiring up the new lamps. They are wired in parralell and connected direct onto the track bus, and I am so pleased with them, a gentle Gas Lamp type glow. Andy.
RMweb Premium southern42 Posted February 5, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 5, 2013 Wonderful, Andy. You kept those bits quiet on Saturday - all this talk about N gauge... . So, are you going to treat us to some sundown shots, next? Cheeky Trebster

RMweb Premium Physicsman Posted February 5, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 5, 2013 I came across to T to commend you on those pics you sent me and to suggest you post them. And you already have. Excellent - very atmospheric! Have you sat in your den, shunting by stationlight yet? If not - why not?!! Lighting can be done to overkill, but you've got it right. Well done. Second reason for my visit.... which blue emulsion did you use for your sky on the backscene - any in particular? Jeff

Not used the layout in the dark yet as I have been at Club this evening. Thanks also to Polly and Duncan for your input Cheers Andy.
Andrew P
Hi All I need some advice please, on point rodding, I have some 1.6mm square plastruct so I have worked that out to be about 2 1/2 inches in 7mm scale which should be about right for the rods. There are only 3 visable points to worry about but I will take a couple of rods under the bridge as though the are a couple of points that side as well. I have tried to find some decent pics but not much as yet. Andy

Maybe we should ask our signalmen Lunesters, Andy and Ian, to take some photos for us? Jeff
