These large scale garden railways can be quite convincing.

Trouble is, it's just not realistic, is it? The ground above the tunnel doesn't look high enough to justify it - but putting a tunnel halfway inside a cutting is even worse!! It's like the modeller couldn't decide which he wanted - tunnel or cutting - so had both!!

His ballasting could do with a tweak as well

you can fit a lot in N gauge, not much colour in corporate blue era though

Going to be a b****r to reach over if something derails, even in N gauge

Has anyone attempted to drive through there?

It's a book, you can see where it folds 🤨

Has this one been on here yet? Avoided the bus-on-a-bridge cliche by posing a lorry on there.

BR DMU & Class 31, Ipswich.

Wow, talk about timing! I'm building a model of that exact bridge right now!

I thought I'd try making some finescale track, but I'm having trouble getting some of the rails to fit in the sleepers. Can anyone offer any advice?

Probably should have fitted the rails before ballasting? Now everything's glued up solid you can't wiggle the sleepers as you thread the rails in. 🤔🤣

At least they've used P4 wheels ............. chunky RTR 00 wheels on a layout look SO awful !

P4 wheels are all very well, but setrack points and unrealistically sharp curves spoil the realism completely - look at that bogie swing on the orange loco!!

True, but just wait until I show my model of Bridport Station. There's a Class 121 Bubble-Car somewhere in there.

Sure the locos not derailed due to bad back-to-backs? 🤪
