RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted October 2, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 2, 2017 There is a new fun thread something like P4 RTR anyone? Really? What larks! Here's a very serious photo showing a P4 Triang searchlight wagon in operation:
RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted October 2, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 2, 2017 (edited) Sorry, EM -2. 'Electra' or 'Pandora?' (Obviously more Triang R-T-R P4). Edited October 2, 2017 by Captain Kernow
Dr Gerbil-Fritters
I knocked some sticks together over the weekend. Then I went out this morning before work and broke them all again. Stupid hobby anyway.

RMweb Premium Tim Dubya Posted October 2, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 2, 2017 (edited) Is that like OO with space ships? It's like boxing with Queensberry rules but .3mm smaller or less wide or something... Edited October 2, 2017 by Tim Dubya

RMweb Premium Clive Mortimore Posted October 2, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 2, 2017 Got bored with the pecoboo thread. I am so pleased that I don't model a realistic track gauge. I once owned a copy of Templot, couldn't get on with it. But then I ain't that clever. I have been trying to build a train recently. Don't know why I keep wanting to make EMUs, I am not planning on having a layout with OLE. Did these ever run through Seaton Junction?

Excellent stuff, wish I had the nads, let alone the skill, to do that modelling stuff.

RMweb Premium Mallard60022 Posted October 3, 2017 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted October 3, 2017 I think we should all arrange one last 'fling' on the Pecoboobs thread and see if we can cause a riot. Strategic withdrawal would then follow. Arsh

RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted October 3, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 3, 2017 Presumably that's the fiddle yard, so where's the scenic section? That's the completely non-scenic DRAG test track, at Scaleforum this year.
Dr Gerbil-Fritters
Small parp applied to Pecoboo thread. I was going to leave it alone, but thought one last response to a particularly asinine statement was warranted. RMweb Premium Clive Mortimore Posted October 3, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 3, 2017 What does Templob have to do with r-t-p track anyway ? Hi Stu Loads, I read all those post where an illustration from Templot has been used to tell us mere 00 modellers where we are going wrong, it is 4 ft 1 1/2ins gauge. See I am learning slowly. eastwestdivide
Careful folks, we're in danger of ending up here: same as on that other topic-whose-name-must-not-be-mentioned. Safer ground with repeated photos of objects* of desire I suspect. *i.e. object in a grammatical sense, target of the desire ** **note to self: stop digging.
