Same thing happened to me earlier this year, so I decided not to do preorders again, til I saw the Peckett was rapidly selling out, even on preorders - so I bit the bullet on that one and preordered it! - but as a rule I'm not ordering til I see the goods for real and see what feedback models get on RMWeb before splashing the cash even if that means paying a few more sponds... cheers, Keith

same here, but my email somewhat bizarrely said the price had decreased: "You have pre-orders where the price has decreased. No action is necessary, this is just a courtesy email." even though as you say, the price has actually increased! I want my Dodo so I am sticking with this, especially as Hatton's pre-orders for the model have sold out (and in fact now cheaper than the Rails price!). I might just pre-order the MSC Peckett too, from Hatton's @ £70, just to keep Dodo company... all the best, Keith

I see Golden Valley Hobbies Barclay 0-6-0 loco 'Ajax' is now in stock at retailers.
