  5. Very interesting as I've just been uploading a few Images to Flickr from Addison Road 1931 and the likeness is remarkable. The photos were all really small averaging from 1cm x 3cm to 4cm x 5cm so some are a bit grainy but I've done what I can to get them to a viewable state. You should be able to find them here. https://www.flickr.com/search/?w=89885635@N05&q=Addison%20Road Hope they are of some use to your project. Cheers Steve P.S they were all well before my normal scope of photos/era so if I've got any classes wrong please let me know so I can correct the descriptions.

  15. Yeah I was thinking that all of the info is currently on here, I'll probably still use it on a personal level to record all my bits as that comes in handy. Cheers
  16. There seems to be a lot of emphasis put onto informing the meet organiser of potential irregularities within a module which I agree with to make their lives easier but I'm not sure how in-depth you need to go is it just a quick email/PM once you decide you'd like to attend a meet or is there a set agenda to follow? I have looked at other Modular groups but cannot find anything which asks for a specific format. Due to the irregularities with my module I've started making a booklet up with everything I can think of that may be required to provide an organiser with as much information as possible. I have attached a Word Doc and a PDF but have had to remove most of the pictures due to the 1MB limit so it’s a bit bare but you should get the gist. Having never had to submit a module before Is this the way to go? am I missing anything that should be added or is this too much. BANKSIDE.docx BANKSIDEtest.pdf Cheers Steve
  17. Regarding dcc decoder address numbers would they be allocated before a meet, on the day with programming track available or at the owners choice but advised to the meet organiser before hand to check for any conflicts and advise someone to change? I'm guessing 1 or 2 but Just looking to tidy up my locos this afternoon so if it were options 1 or 2 it wont really matter if it were 3 I'll try and pick something like 80-89 range which may not be as popular? Steve
  18. Through the square window.. From the module I've started. Steve
  19. Maybe people are getting warm with their guesses already so they don't want to reveal to much more. They still have 25 days to run with the countdown clock although they could do the same little glimpse through the fog next 5 models with 5 days each (they did hint at 6 models early in?) ..... Steve
  20. Not quite at the ballasting stage but to try and maintain some continuity between boards what colour ballast are people using. I have some Woodland scenics medium grey blend (B94) is that OK? Cheers Steve
  21. Looking through all my photos probably the 1 that stands out is 37263 on 27th July 1986 aged 17 and about to start a Freedom of Scotland the next day. We had just returned to Carlisle from doing the Class 20's on the Wigan - Preston Drags when the Gen was 37263 was coming down from Glasgow with 1M56 1445 Glasgow - Carlisle and would return on 1S88 19:20 Carlisle to Glasgow Central (SUN) so it was a Car to Annan where we purchased our Freedoms and started a Day early having the 37 from Annan to Carlisle then all the way to Glasgow Central. 37263 stands at Carlisle on Sunday 27th July 1986 If it were a Favourite Day on Class 37's that would be easy the 5th July 1986. Living in Carlisle the Gen was 37131 was coming down from Glasgow with 1M01 0740 Glasgow - Carlisle so off to Dumfries to meet that and while on that some more Gen of 37168 planned to work an additional 1E97 1040 Edinburgh - London Kings Cross (relief) Between Edinburgh - Doncaster. Remember this was before the age of the Internet or Mobile phones but there were alot of Railway men with insider knowledge.... So the plan was a car to Newcastle to do that to York. I remember the timings were a bit tight to get to Newcastle but we made it 2nd 37 in the bag shortly after arriving at York in rolled 37052+37001 on 1Z61 The Deltic Silver Jubilee railtour from Kings Cross to Malton having spoken to the DPS stewards they let us join to Malton for a suitable donation to the DPS and another 2 sorted. 37 hauled from Dumfries to Malton (with a Car in between) Great day... 37168 York 05/07/1986 37052+37001 York 05/07/1986 Cheers Steve
