    Kato uses 1:150 for their Japanese N Gauge 1067mm stock but 1:160 for Shinkansen. I would have thought the model would follow British practise.

    The Billi terminal at Bordeaux AIrport had an excellent range of very expensive French railway magazines. A surprise because this terminal is for Easy Jet and Wizz Air and is basically a shed to keep low cost customers away from the Air France and BA areas. Not recommended, fly back from Toulouse if you can.

    Troy Gardens is a small development built on part of the old station site. One of the houses has the tunnel mouth of the abortive Savin scheme in its back garden.

    Avdoiding Rod Gate I purchased “Rolvenden” from my favourite retailer and will post to my best friend and fellow KESR enthusiast. Little Dan was superb helping find a surprise for Glenn who I have known for over 55 years.

    Very sad news, condolences to his friends and family. The Newhaven topic contained exquisite modelling and was an inspiration. Sadly missed.

    Collected my Bachmann G2A from Derails yesterday. It was in their sale section. Although it is LMS livery, it will be an easy one to convert to BR as there is no smoke box door number to worry about. Excellent service as always.
