  1. As a seller you can pre approve returns based on certain criteria, so the label is generated and buyer refunded as soon as the return process is triggered.
  2. Usually quicker, cheaper and easier to get a second hand knuckle from a breakers.
  3. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but these are somewhat incorrect. With a repaint Alice can only represent: Alice Holy War George B King of the Scarlets (post 128ish) Change the cab sheets and you can add Wild Aster and Irish Mail Add a dome and change the cab sheets you can have Maid Marian as built. Change the frame profile and you can have Rough Pup Enid as built Cloister as built King of the Scarlets (as built) Maid Marian C. 50s/60s) Add a crosshead feed pump and change the frame profile and you can have Velinheli as built To get a current condition Velinheli you need to change frame profile, change cab sheets, add a dome. To Get Red Damsel you need to change frame profile and add tank mounted injectors/delete the backhead ones. To get Cloister you need to change frame profile, modify the tank (no handrails, different filler) and reverse the steam turret. To get the original Port locos (Covertcoat & Bernstein) you'd need to change the frame profile and buffer beams. The Penrhyn small class are all fine with just new names The Penyrorsedd Cabbed ones are all fine with just new names and paint, and can also represent Irish Mail with a cab, as well as Holy War as running (also needs side buffers). None of the Penrhyn Port or Large class can be modelled, nor can the Dinorwig later Port type or tramway type, or Lady Madcap. I'm also ignoring other detail differences such as buffer beams, buffers, pipe runs, sandboxes and other small details in this.
  4. 6x9" Bagnall Skinner was drawn in NG&IRM fairly recently by Stuart Baker, and I have an almost complete set of Bagnall drawings for it too. Bagnall don't do G.A.s, so you need to know what you want to see on a drawing to select the right ones.
  5. The lined GWR version also features the thin cab top which was only carried by a few locos, 2538 being the most obvious. It also has the top feed which was again rare and a poor rendition of the dished smokebox door, which was quite common up to the 40s or so.
  6. Does anyone have a set spare they could scan or send me? I recall there was a useful potted history of the wagons on there which I would like to consult.
  7. Can I ask which company you used for the casting? I'm after having some 16mm scale parts done from 3D masters and these look like good results to me.
  8. Glad it worked for you, there are of course other ways it can be done, but I like to have a path for each run of rivets which makes it quite easy to return and adjust stuff later.
  9. Acrobat Reader 9 is ancient, The current version is Reader DC, which scales fine.
  10. Indeed. I've just been commissioned to take a currently UK made product and have it made in China instead. Most of my job is redesigning stuff made here so that it can be produced over there.
  11. Hope you can follow this, there was a glitch in sketch 2 which locked the sketch as fully defined in the wrong place, which I then had to correct after the fact. When using pattern on path for this, the important thing is that the path runs from centre to centre of the rivets, otherwise it can have all sorts of weird and unintended effects. This is why I create sketch 2 rather than use the curve of the tank created in sketch 1. Also note that I drag the arrow round rather than enter a value, as it will automatically snap to the end point of the profile when I get to it. I also extrude in 2 directions so that the rivet meets the curve of the saddle tank , otherwise it would be a hemisphere floating above it, only meeting in the centre.
  12. FInally got my 2nd jab - I didn't arrange it, I was texted by BCUHB who had arranged it for me in Tremadog last Sunday. With no sign of anything imminently happening in Dolgellau I went, stood in a queue for 40 minutes and was jabbed. The nurse was surprised it had taken this long to get a 2nd jab, I've been holding out to get done in Dolgelau like the first I said. She said, oh we're there on Friday! Typical! And yes, just seen on Facebook now that there is finally a clinic in Dolgellau tomorrow. Oh well it's done now, shame it took 3 hours out of my day rather than 45 minutes but there you go.
  13. For most of the UK, Just buy Uniroyal Rainsports for all year use. Ironically I've found that cheap nasty hard summer tyres are usually quite good in snow. Surprised many a 4x4 owner in the severe snows of 2010 zipping about in a lowered Civic coupe on large alloys with Nankangs or Wanlis (can't remember which), the front splitter acting as a snow plough. My current C30 arrived from Bradford with Winter tyres. I got it in March and did have occasion to use it on snow. Didn't feel any better for them but it might be better during a proper winter, so I've kept them should the need arise. Now running Michelin Primacy 4s as they were a good price (which have been good so far, although I'd still prefer Rainsports or Pilot 4s)
  14. Heads up - the Model Railway categories on ebay will be changing from October. In short, scales and gauges will no longer be differentiated. PDF attached is the official eBay release to business sellers today. UK_Category_Changes_Oct2021.pdf
  15. Slow lift right down, if you can raise it up so the interior is vented thst will also help.
  16. I'm out on two counts: Xeon E3-1535M CPU and TPM1.2. Theoretically the latter is upgradable according to Dell, but the utility to do it hasn't managed to. (suspect it applies only to the i7 versions of this laptop)

  18. I have had reason to moan at ebay CS last week after a payout was put on hold without reason, saying I needed to provide more info and providing a link to do just that - but which did nothing except tell me that I was good to go. Payouts for sales after it went through fine, and after getting ignored by CS chat for a day, the second day given the usual spiel concluding in "it will sort itself out" it did eventually go through.
  19. I've used both on just about every 3D Printed material out there without issue.
  20. Or A pre facelift DC5 perhaps... https://www.google.com/search?q=DC5&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwik97fkqM_yAhWXwYUKHYmICEoQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=DC5&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzIFCAAQgAQyBQgAEIAEMgUIABCABDIFCAAQgAQyBQgAEIAEMgUIABCABDoGCAAQCBAeOgcIABCxAxBDOggIABCABBCxAzoLCAAQgAQQsQMQgwE6CAgAELEDEIMBUKDNAVjI3AFgyN4BaAFwAHgAgAFWiAGQBZIBATiYAQCgAQGqAQtnd3Mtd2l6LWltZ7ABAMABAQ&sclient=img&ei=kN0nYaTvHZeDlwSJkaLQBA&bih=937&biw=1920
