      I took my late Dad to the Atom Bomb Museum in Hiroshima. He went very quiet. I ask him why. If that bomb had not been dropped he said, we probably would not have been standing there. He was on training for the invasion of Japan when the bomb was dropped.

      While it's true that Japan indeed launched a war of imperial aggression and appear not to have apologised, we should remember that it was the leaders and not the people who caused that. There are a few other nations in the world that have launched aggressive wars on false premise and have shown no remorse. Should their people pay for the sins of their leaders? Just saying, we're talking about innocent human beings.
