☆ SWAG Members Day- SUNDAY 28th APRIL 2024☆
Graham_Muz replied to NHY 581's topic in The Noble Realm of SWAG
"CAKE" "CAKE" Did someone mention "Cake" thIs is the first of many reminders that the "upselling, arm twisting, I mean purveyors of hearty snacks and drinks team" welcome donations on the day of cakes of any style, size, chocolate, non chocolate or even vegetable... (yes vegetable based cake counts as one of your five a day...) to ensure everybody who attends goes home properly full of cake (as well of course admiration of all the other exhibits that make up this cake event). -

For the vented supported walls on the Hawkhurst provider store I used Slaters Femish Bond embossed plastciard glued back to back and punched out the half bricks with a punch made using an old square needle file.

Once again it needs repeating that this is the first of at least four announcements to be made by Bachmann this year!

You have asked and been corrected about this before within the Hattons 14xx thread. The 14xx tooling was/is fully owned by Hattons and nothing to do with any demise of DJM. It is up to Hattons what they may or might have already done with it.

Yes, I can confirm that the Chimney cap was removed from 93 when running on NR metals (and to get it into the shed at Didcot!) as it was outside the current NR loading gauge.

Whatever Kevin looks like he is probably stamping his foot complaining "That is so unfair" that he has not received the Steam Railmotor model that has not been announced yet...

EFE Rail - Winter 2023 Announcements inc. Southern 'Booster'
Graham_Muz replied to AY Mod's topic in EFE Rail
Keeping things in context, as I said there have only been a very small number of models with any reported issues, which are still being investigated, when compared with the numbers sold. -

Rick, Ping me a PM and I will see what I can do to help sort the issue. -
EFE Rail - Winter 2023 Announcements inc. Southern 'Booster'
Graham_Muz replied to AY Mod's topic in EFE Rail
Because the very small number of models that have been actually reported as so affected, is being investigated as the potential cause being as what could be described by some as 'minor manufacturing issue'. -
EFE Rail - Winter 2023 Announcements inc. Southern 'Booster'
Graham_Muz replied to AY Mod's topic in EFE Rail
Yes the Booster wheelbase is very long compared to most Co-Cos and also as you state the bogies are mounted closer together than most too, so the need to take R2 curves has been a challenge. Thankfully the small number of actual reported "minor manufacturing issues" as a percentage of the number of models produced is very low.
