Hi Kieran, I’ll see what I can do. Cheers Darius

Not really - as you said nothing works properly on a Monday morning. Cheers Darius

As for others my "activating" my new account seems to have wiped all of my details (addresses, order history - including ones not yet fulfilled) from the website. Hopefully they are still in Rails' order system or they are going to have some very unhappy customers - myself included. Fortunately I have kept all the order confirmation emails from Rails with their order numbers. New IT systems and "upgrades" - invariably disasters in the making. Darius

Body reconstruction completed. One is pretty much 100%, however the other is missing a front window pillar and part of the rear end. I will scratch these out of plasticard and blend them in with filler. There are also some small impact “craters” that will need to be filled. An overall primer coat followed by more sanding and filling and I think we’ll be there. Cheers Darius- 9 replies

My original plan was to mate the Rivarossi loco bodies to some dcc ready Atlas chassis. However when transporting the locos in their Rivarossi plastic box from my 6th floor flat to the garage for storage, the box slipped and fell 6 floors down the central well of the spiral staircase onto the tiled floor below. Fortunately no one was hurt but the locos, as you might imagine, didn’t fare that well. As I only need the bodies I have collected the pieces and a jigsaw puzzle come “kit assembly” process will now commence. I have the technology. I can rebuild it. Cheers Darius

I saw one once - over five years ago. Cheers Darius

Fast forwarded to the actual unveiling. Good job the presenter kept saying wow because I certainly wasn’t… Nice looking (the car) but it looks like a regular F1 car to me. Cheers Darius

Thanks Noel. I have since equipped the powered centre car with DCC sound using a decoder from Wheeltappers. Its actually for a CAF 4000 as their CAF 3000 sound project is still in preparation. It will get replaced by the latter when it becomes available and the CAF 4000 decoder used in the GMAC CAF 4000 when I get round to doing it. Cheers Darius

Thanks Robert, I have a CMAC CAF 4000 waiting in the wings so watch this space… Cheers Darius

Thanks Colm. It’s down to the CAD and 3D printing skills of m0rris, who has captured the look of these units so well. Cheers Darius
