      Kaplan,

      Have the texts which haven't been used (as we also got a folder with a paper copy) also have the Kaplan revision kits (which have been used and do have some writing over / crossings out.)

  2. Just realised that I bought solvent no nails, which I cant use on the foam baseboard. its times like this you regret living in the country!

  3. baseboards wood cut, roll on thursday and building can commence!

  4. Trying to work out how to spend my passing CIMA bonus, Western or Dukedog. Better make sure I pass a week on tuesday!

      Must get the 58xx chassis finished (brake gear, and fine tuning) to free up workbench space

  9. Strategic cima exams start on Tuesday, so this morning rather than revising I'm fitting new cab doors to a 58xx.....

      The odd thing is at the moment I seem to be spending more time looking at engineering drawings at work than anything financey

      Still, get these 3 out the way in November and then there is only one more exam to go in march!

      Seems there are a few of us Jon, I know Kempenfelt is doing Strats. I'm on E2 and F2, with Strats to follow in November and (touch wood) T4 in Feb. Will be good to finally get my holiday back!

  17. Off to Broughton for 6 months on Sunday, so back commuting to Bristol at weekends. Still, will give me time to crack on with wagon kits

      She got hold of the box from the Ratio 5 plank I built last night, the bits for the tension locks were left in there (best place for them!) Naturally having eaten the box the little plastic "treats" went down well

       

       

  19. Just recived my first Hornby Castle, very impressed even if its just a tad too large for Cheddar

  20. Mornings revision achived, now sat with a full print out of Cheddar on the lounge floor. Its pretty big!..

      Relative to that, small!

      Though it is a fair bit wider than I had anticipated, and a bit longer. Going to be moving into a bigger house in the new year so tbh the likelihood of major progress before then is slim to none. Will just have to make sure the new house has a room that is big enough for it (else there is always the garage!) For now I think concentrating on rolling stock and locos will be a better plan!
