A quick tweak to a plan results in fitting two spare boards, recycled from the modular project, that will fit very nicely on one particular plan.

I've put forward a shopping list for my forthcoming birthday. I just won't mention the triple pack of carriages that Ebay had cheap (all named in the current rake) and the one the local model shop has just put by for me, and the two coaches for conversion into generator and baggage car that Hattons are posting me tomorrow... oops...

I spoke to a guy the other day via their live chat about my order and was told they were behind by a couple of days at the warehouse.

Interestingly I've just had the same response from them about being behind in the warehouse. If it's in stock (as Hattons claim everything is) then you expect a fairly quick turnaround.

We're also now in summer holiday season when most businesses suffer from staff shortages due to annual leave in addition to other abscences

Never mind cost, parking, commuting, council tax band, development potential, what the neighbours are like and all the other irrelevant things you ought to consider when making one of the biggest expenditures you're ever likely to make.
