RMweb Premium 2ManySpams Posted August 8, 2011 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted August 8, 2011 Thanks Pete, Colin, Ian and Paul for the kind comments. It's been a good 12 months since my last really good modelling sesh and I've really missed it. Very enjoyable and passes the time stacks quicker than working on the house! I found though that it takes a while to get back into the flow of working with the tools and materials. I'm still sobering up from the 4 Mek bottle's contents though.... 4 Mek bottles sitting on the bench, 4 mek bottles sitting on the bench, and if one mek bottle should accidentally go dry, there'd be 3 mek bottles sitting on the bench Anyway I've now given the building a spray over with red car primer. Building doesn't look as tall now and so the open building surgery on the roof is probably postponed. More photos in a bit....

RMweb Premium 2ManySpams Posted August 8, 2011 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted August 8, 2011 Ok here's a few more: Roof just about done and down pipes added. Flashing from tissue paper over the join between the two roof types. The Wills slates got a good sanding down to reduce the prominence of the tiles.

RMweb Premium 2ManySpams Posted August 8, 2011 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted August 8, 2011 Question for Mr Ross - if we have one of the end garages open - what goes inside? For others - we decided that, owing to the proximity of the buildings to a running line and a live yard, the buildings would be modeled as though they were railway owned.
