There is presently no advertising being displayed in this panel - just "top posters", "popular posts" etc. Stuff that used to be at the bottom of the page. burgundy
Bad outbreak of adverts which are taking up about 60% of the right hand side of any thread and making the site unreadable. Is there a way to fix please? Even typing this note, an adverts covers the right hand side of this message. Best wishes Eric RMWeb screen1.docx

Interestingly if you flick to portrait the ad moves to the bottom and if you then go back to landscape it sizes correctly. IPadOS 15.7.1 That's caused by a repeated and without a break so the two ads, side by side, break out. I'll report that.
RMweb Premium Izzy Posted January 6, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 6, 2023 It took me quite a while to sign up for premium not only because of the fault comments I kept reading about but mainly because IOS 15+ wouldn’t let me access the page detailing the sign-up details , kept saying a content blocker was responsible. Again I worried that I’d still have issues since I use both an IPad, IPhone, and Win 11 laptop with strict security, ad blockers, no history saved etc. Finally managed to sign-up using the laptop. The process was quick and easy once a WOR account has been generated and it all works fine across any machine I now use. The difference is well worth the £12 although I wouldn’t really want to have to pay much more. So all thanks to Andy for pushing for this option which I’d recommend to anyone. The difference is like chalk and cheese. Bob 1
RMweb Premium PhilJ W Posted January 8, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 8, 2023 I had to go to the bottom of the page to reset Premium, not a problem. But once I'd reset it I noticed the the notifications at the bottom of the page had reverted to the coloured lettering (on a black bar) making them unreadable. One of the changes is weird formatting on the right with a panel that wastes a bunch of screen real estate and makes the useful area very narrow: In most threads this panel is populated with the "popular posts" section that used to appear on the bottom of the page. Narrowing the window makes this panel go away, but results in a window that does not work well for other websites. Can this content be sent back to the bottom of the page where it always was? thank you. (Windows 10 / Chrome) I'm now getting a similar thing. In this 'forum issues' topic, I get the right hand panel, plus a Warners banner ad across the bottom of the page. But, if I'm in View New Content, I get the banner add plus ads in the right hand column. I'm using Windows 10/Firefox browser.
RMweb Premium Gwiwer Posted January 10, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 10, 2023 The formatting has gone awry since the Hornby banners went up. Log out / in does not clear it. I also had an Accurascale ad appear over the top of this view but cannot replicate that issue.
RMweb Premium New Haven Neil Posted January 10, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 10, 2023 I'm getting the 'Digitrains' box in all threads today, sometimes at the side, sometimes between posts. Also the white bar at the top is displaced, maybe something to do with the Hornby link? Win10, Chrome.

RMweb Premium melmerby Posted January 10, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 10, 2023 (edited) Adverts, adverts and more bl**dy adverts 6 on the page and another instead of the topic I tried to view. I've just a few minutes ago removed my link to another (non railway) site because it's swamped by adverts and now this on RMweb. What is wrong? It's killing the internet Edited January 10, 2023 by melmerby

RMweb Premium keefer Posted January 10, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 10, 2023 I have the 'formatting' problem reported by Gwiwer above (on Android phone/Chrome) On my Android/Chrome tablet I am now getting banner adverts at top of thread and bottom of screen. I am RMWeb Premium and have the correct theme selected. This has just happened today.

RMweb Premium MikeB Posted January 10, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 10, 2023 Does anybody else have the issue that whereas links to multiple pages in a thread were arranged horizontally, now they are vertical, making each topic "line" much larger, so few topics on a page? On PC/ Win 11/ Chrome . 4

Hi Andy Theme is correct "premium" Most ads have gone now, although I did get a pop up in the middle of the page when I changed topic. I also have a penel at the bottom that is labelled "advertisement" but is blank And there is something wrong up top: 2
RMweb Premium melmerby Posted January 10, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 10, 2023 (edited) The panel at the bottom is obscuring parts of posts. If I click "quote" to a post I need to scroll it up to add my comment as that bit is covered by the blank. Normally the clear space is visible.
