Deeps
The only saving grace is that it is a functional item, although I’m sure I could get an equally reliable watch for a fraction of the 150 notes this thing will cost. As an aside, whilst scanning the page for the cost, my eyes were drawn to the phrase ‘Pay Nothing Now’, which reminds me of the Monty Python quote where people are invited to pay nothing now to the Extremely Poor Society.

RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted April 22 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 22 But it must be very posh and, therefore, worth all that money, because it's called a Chronograph.
Hroth
Tut tut. Won't be paying anything! Of course as a "collectors item" it won't be used enough for the microscopically thick gold plating to wear off... 1
RMweb Premium kevinlms Posted April 22 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 22 Why 4,999 as the number available and not 5,000? Perhaps they don't count the one in their rogues gallery, to show what mugs buy.

RMweb Premium jjb1970 Posted April 22 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 22 I honestly can't understand why anyone buys such tat. Stick to high quality, tastefully designed timepieces such as the Elvis Presley Tukhanamun Dambusters clock. 1

froobyone
No mention of the chronograph movement in the watch. I wonder if it's an in-house movement, or maybe Valjoux 7750? Nah, more than likely a Chinese Neveright 270... 1

CJI. None. Have you seen the magazines that come with the quality newspapers? I remember when seemingly very respected magazines such as Railway Magazine and Railway World were advertising all kinds of tat when it was Rocket 150.
