EBay madness

Some of the Thomas stuff is fetching ridiculous prices lately.  You try finding a Oliver for under £250 and a Toad for less than a £100!!!

I remember only a few years back when Model Railways Direct were knocking Murdoch out at £57 a go on sale, they had dozens.....

What's the point? The only one to profit is eBay!

I can see the current fad for Thomas stuff collapsing. leaving speculators with overpriced junk on their hands, which noone will want.

It's happened so many times before....

'e...e' is now the owner of both having spent £3100.......!

He let his 'opponent' have 20003 for £620.

All either utterly daft or very odd.

The vendor runs swapmeets/toy fairs hereabouts and trades quite extensively. Most of his ebay items are of the 'kit' types

Here are the bidding lists for the CC1/2. Most odd.

Did Brexit devalue the £ that much already ?

£160 for a Hornby DVT ...

Still it’s cheaper than this loco body, which costs more than most locos...

Whatever turns you on!  :)

A strange way to display one's wares! I assume the Deltic is one of GBL's offerings?

The suggestions show a load of overpriced H & M products. All past their 'sell by date' I would say.

It would be expensive for Felix, but the price is exorbitant even by Cartmel standards for a Hornby milk churn. i paid £1 for the last one I bought. It was a bit rough (realistic) but....

Perhaps he means the milk (churn) van which explain the 'green' colour. (All the churns I've seen have been plain tinplate.)
