EBay madness

Makes sense...

Upper class use the top, lower classes below.

Seriously though, is there a way this may occur ?, for example a station high above a track, having a road entrance above where passengers cross a corridor to chose their platforms, but for for those changing trains, it saves them climbing all the way to the top ?

The closest example that springs to mind is several of the "busway" stations in Brisbane. It's a signature look to have the footbridge, even if it's immediately adjacent to an overpass with a perfectly good footpath (just to make it extra dumb the footbridge is almost always level with the street).

If the footbridges weren't built level with the upper street, you'd end up with a stairs->footbridge->stairs->street setup similar to the Ebay listing. What breaks it though is I think there's at least one example just like that, and they only built one staircase for the upper level, much like Five Ways.

I may have unknowingly slipped into some sort of parallel universe which broadly looks the sme but where some aspects are way out of kilter. Browsing Bachmann BSC tipplers I set the preferences to lowest price including p&p. Look who's selling the cheapest one;  who'd have thought it.

He has forgotten to to put the extra 1 on the front of the price . Best send him a message quick

But...... Did you buy any?

Only then will the conversion be complete :mosking:

For the work that has gone into them and the basic price of the coach, not too bad IMHO.

One feels that the price being asked for this item is slightly optimistic.

but at least you get free postage.

Minimum wage going up, not forgetting their pension contributions.... It's a lot of staff you have to pay... Perhaps a bargain considering they will work for many many years!

Perhaps someone here should buy it and make it the eBay Madness mascot ;)

"Good runner" Would be surprised to see that going anywhere soon.... Possible the motor has been moved but more explaining needed really...

Eh?

Is the right item linked?

Good runner - when you push the coaches with your finger they move. Simples.

After seeing the NSE 166(-1 Carriage) ebay pointed me towards this.....https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F382375036451

I have a new favourite “what were they thinking model”

The old SWT trains are looking worse for wear

I reckon there's a Craven's DMU hiding in there somewhere :)
