Popular Post luckymucklebackit
Found this while looking for something else, with apologies to Audin This is the Voyager crossing the Border Standing room only, unless you pre order Seating for the rich, corridors for the poor The shop has sold out, the buffet no more Revving up Beattock, claiming to be green The wires above her, no pan to be seen Birds turn their heads, as she approaches Stare from the bushes, at her paltry 5 coaches Cars in the fast lane can't keep pace But have comfortable seats and a lot more grace Thro' heather and weather but not fallen leaves With approval ratings that no-one believes Shoveling carbon over her shoulder Nox, particulates, benzene, sulphur Her weight fatigues the railway line She's ten minutes late but that's on time In the farm she passes no one wakes All long gone to euro milk lakes Dawn freshens but the toilet's full Snarling toward the urban sprawl Scotland, independent nation Soon an end to this vibration Past rough estates and fast food chains Dodging the stones from those with no brains Call centres, offices, low cost homes Tattooed teenagers with tweeting phones Once steel and coal and engineering Graffiti, flats and multi screening Trainspotting here is not what it seems But fuels the crime to pay for dreams In the dark glens beside pale green sea lochs Men read their e-mails 29 1 4

A tricky one as Q isn't used in the normal registration series, and a modern car would have 7 digits, older ones sometimes less, it would seem there has been a bit of "manipulation" going on there. The best way to obtain a similar registration is to bid for the Cardiff registration of OBO 110X which was actually issued. Mike.

RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted May 1, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 1, 2019 Going OT (but this is rmweb so thread drift is de rigeur) I'm sure most of you have noticed in the latest series of Line of Duty many cars have 'I' and 'Q' in the reg. French film makers have been doing something similar for a few years now where they have the initial part on the number plate using letters which are several years ahead when the filming takes place. Perhaps I should mention that in Victoria at least, we do use I's, 1's and Q's. We did skip 'I' and 'Q' at one time as a prefix, but when we ran out, we went back and used them! 1

They use NI registrations where it is filmed although it's still supposed to be in Birmingham where the first series was filmed. Car Share was briliant as it moved all around Greater Manchester and it was fun spotting the various locations and continuity misses.

I spotted Ladypool Road where I went to school for a year. Most of the shops are now Balti Houses & other Pakistani businesses The school used to be here: https://goo.gl/maps/QVBpTHFTVrPNUcv66 It's actually produced at Media City UK (Salford) Edited May 1, 2019 by melmerby
