PS. it was an Ivatt it's now a BR Std 2MT with a couple of small detail alterations and a new number I certainly can't tell the difference though I'm sure the purists would.

Careful not to wear your camera out, Mike!!

Great to see you're having so much fun with Dent.

Is it due to appear in a magazine, or is my memory playing tricks?

Jeff

Model Rail have indicated an interest but I want to carry out some further scenic work before the the photoshoot.

Hi all,

Well I am pretty upset that none of you wished me a happy birthday today :ireful:  :warning: well not me actually :nono: but the layout, if you look at the first post it was 4 years to the day when I announced the building of Dent right here on RMWeb.

Happy birthday Dent, well thanks very much :senile:

Well, I just finished catching up, after several months on and off. Lovely layout. I particularly like the views looking north along the tracks through the station, with the broad sweeping curves. I won't be saying much, as I've done no modelling in the past 12 months, but keep up the good work.

Alan

The signature freight train of the Settle-Carlisle is the Long Meg - Widnes Anhydrite working and today 9F 2-10-0 92058 is captured exiting Rise Hill tunnel en-route south to Widnes.

Is it another 9F, Brit or Clan?

Ahh! Its 9F 92125 with a Carlisle bound coal working.

Following the progress through Dentdale the two 9F's disturb the serenity of the quiet location...
