brian777999
I think the simpler ''like'' button was much preferrable.
Talltim
On a related note, how do I find which of my posts people have liked/disliked/found useful/boring/unintelligible?
RMweb Gold martin_wynne Posted May 16, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 16, 2013 On a related note, how do I find which of my posts people have liked/disliked/found useful/boring/unintelligible? Go to: http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=notifications Scroll down to Content Ratings. Tick the boxes Click Save Changes at the bottom. You will then be notified when someone likes one of your posts, and which one it is. Martin.
N15class
How come you cannot like replies to blog posts now?
Talltim
So you can't do it retrospectively? I seem to have that turned on since the multi button change (I got my first notification yesterday) but I have 400 or so others that I have no idea what they were for. RMweb Premium Welly Posted May 17, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 17, 2013 Just remembered something - is there a limit to how many likes, agrees, disagrees etc that we can give out in a day now? Is it based of the total of what we give out eg 100 likes and agrees added together? Or is each button limited eg up to 50 likes can be given out and up to 50 agrees can be given out? Andy Y
No limits.
N15class
I understand the multitude of like buttons. But i have no idea what the two zeros are after the number of likes on my profile page, have not seen anything to say what they stand for?
RMweb Premium Ian J. Posted May 17, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 17, 2013 The first number is positives you've received, the second is neutrals, and the last is negatives. As no negatives are actually in place, you should never see the last digit be anything that a zero.

Or are they from agree and disagree buttons
RMweb Premium Ian J. Posted May 18, 2013 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 18, 2013 Andy Y has explained previously, but the 'disagree' (X) and indecipherable/Unsure of Meaning (?) buttons are neutral. All others are positive (as at time of writing).
ozzyo
Hello Andy, I think that this has been mentioned before, that the gold popular star tag has gone missing. Do you think that you'll be getting / putting it back? OzzyO. PS, getting used to the new buttons.
Peter Kazmierczak
Don't you sometimes wish you'd never started a thread..... Anyway, I agree with OzzyO in that I rather miss the gold star tag. With so many voting options now, perhaps the criteria could be, say, 10 positive comments rather than the five previously.
RMweb Gold JCL Posted May 20, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 20, 2013 I think you created a monster, Peter! I've got my flaming torch and pitchfork 'round the back, ready.
coachmann
Couldn't we have a free vote on the buttons with a simple yes or no...... Those of favour of a return to the old 'Like' and gold star arrangement, press Yes. Those if favour of keeping the buttons?, press No.
DavidH
All those in favour of adding Yes and No buttons, please press Accept. Against, press Trouser.
Pete 75C
I have a great idea. After 8 days, why don't we just accept the changes Andy has made and move on...??? There will be something else along in a minute to moan about. For the Victor Meldrews amongst you, the disagree button is the cross within the circle... Andy Y
I feel it would be a shame to cast them out as I can see they're generally being used and used appropriately to give a better quality of approval to postings.
