stewartingram
I would hardly call 37800 'not so graphic'!

Far too fussy a livery for the 37 with all those grills. Blue paint, black roof and a silver ROG logo would've sufficed. Jo

RMweb Gold The Pilotman Posted November 11, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 11, 2022 (edited) It amazes me that 37099 is still going strong. I remember riding behind it on a railtour in Cornwall early in 1985; nearly 38 years ago and it was already over twenty years old then 🙄 Edited November 11, 2022 by The Pilotman

lmsforever
I do not like that orange livery on a 37 reckon whoever designed that livery was colour blind and had no idea how a clss 37 can enhance a good livery.
RMweb Gold 08221 Posted December 1, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 1, 2022 Remembering BR blue WR 37s in pairs on stone trains at Bletchley in the 1970s, seeing a bright orange one is a bit of a shock! However at least they still on the main line. Yeah, I think you could be right as it has the light grey roof colour that Iris was given around this time.
