Yeah, I think you could be right as it has the light grey roof colour that Iris was given around this time.

The window pattern and the positions of the white symbols and writing also match Iris when viewed from the end without the exhaust pipes (in my opinion.)

To keep on topic, this stalwart WHL 37 looks very smart in it's recently applied Large Logo livery but only kept the nameplates for the year 1985 ... as per it's subject of being the International Youth Year.

I never knew that 21T mineral wagons were also used for scrap metal

A LITTLE 'CRACKER' ON FIREWORKS NIGHT💥🔥

There was some 21t MDO's bought by M.C. Metals. Rails of Sheffield commissioned a limited run of the Accurascale model for them.

That little Scottie Dog is a long way from home!

No Scottie dog in that photo, unless there's one in the flats 😉

That Westie is looking pretty smart though.

37403 "Isle of Mull" at Connel Ferry 1987 by Bill Watson

TWIN ISLES

Happily, 37403 is still in service. The last time I saw the loco was on 23/09/22, at Grosmont sheds during the North Yorkshire Moors Railway annual steam gala.

I've rode behind 37403 a few times on the line, though mostly from Grosmont to Whitby.

For those interested in the loco in front of the 37, that is Class 47 47077 North Star.

(Note: I know I've posted the photo on here before but I thought I'd share it again after seeing the other photo of the same loco)
