Evening all. 

 

Very much a test piece. 

 

Bored with painting sleepers, I threw some ballast at one section of track to see how it might look. No glue, just brushed into place. 

 

I have to say, I'm quite pleased with the result. 

Just have to knuckle down and finish the painting and weathering....

Progress of sorts today. 

 

The base layer of static grass has now been added to embankment and a few other places. Nice to see a bit of green. 

 

Loads more grass and stuff to add but enough for today. 

 

Here are a few photos. Apologies for the poor quality. Light is not the best but I hope they give an idea of where this is heading...
