Rob, not so much any more. Yesterday it was full of idiots, foreign tour groups, and luvvies with no interest or knowledge in horticulture. we've gone for the past 10 years. This was likely our last. TV presence is now far too intrusive. I could rant on....

Yes the nearest branch of Hobbycraft has seen a very marked reduction in the level of Hornby stock - still good on Woodlands Scenics though.

Has always been pretty dire in the London area. Branches of Hobbycraft / ToysRUs have no railway items at all!

Theres more choice for boys today and I guess its not 'cool' to like trains.My lad loves Skylanders and there were loads of those.
