When the wire is flattened the material undergoes work hardening, and thus becomes brittle. It can we annealed by heating it to cherry red, and then allowed to cool naturally.
This will restore the material to the similar properties as it had before the flattering.

Sorry I feel moved to ask you, why did you make this decision?

I think instead it should be called Freezer Junction?

I think the problem is that your phone lacks a macro function. On a real camera this allows close-up photography.

Ingrow tunnel, is technically not a tunnel, it is a covered way! The difference is that it was built and then the road was built over it. It's like an extended bridge!
Originally it was built because the mill owner beside the railway wanted to extend his mill over the railway, and it later incorporated the road.
The grass and bushes over the entrance are a very recent addition.
Other examples include the so called tunnels under the esplanade at Ryde, the tunnel and Kimble between Swindon and Stroud, build because the lord of the manor didn't want to see the engine smoke from the windows of his house.
However in the 1960's his grandson was one of the campaigner to keep the line open. Recently the line has been re-doubled to enable it to carry the traffic freight and passenger between Swindon and the Midlands.

Where does the South Polden Light Railway go to?

Go for it! The reason for the failure was the ore ran out, on the companies land. The engine's were left under a bridge to rot, after all.

You have to decide what functions, e.g. sound etc that you want. Only then can you choose a decoder.
When you are new to DCC don't be temped to mix and match equipment from several manufacturers.

Slight problem, is the case is the largest that I have found that does not have to be specially ordered, from local suppliers.

Nice to see someone modelling an HF Stephens branch, built for the LSWR to replace a 3' mineral line between Callington and Calstock Quay, via a rope worked incline.
In the early years of the new line, there was a wagon lift, on the RHS of the Calstock viaduct, to maintain access to the Quay.
Julie.
P.S. The livery of the bubble car, is correct for the early diesel period on the line.

It would have been simply 'Box'. When the first power boxes were built, the words Power Box were added to signify the difference from normal, i.e. manual boxes.
The exception to this was when there were more than one box, in a location. where Level Crossing, East or West etc or in the case of the LNWR boxes in the same area were numbered, for example Stafford Station No 3 Box.
Hope this is useful.

It can be done, if necessary you could use a short piece of streamline flexiable track.

I would be tempted to make the main line a oval, and disguise this by putting a locomotive shed in place, at the end of the platform. This was the case at many branch terminus stations including Loch Tay. This would allow you to run in new and newly serviced locomotives.
I would also consider extending the runaround loop under the bridge, to enable a 2 coach train to be run.

PS I do like Paul A Lunn's designs for small spaces

I like his design, but if the hidden sidings were turned thro' 90 degrees they would longer and thus more useable.

I've also found that slightly bending the point to improve the flow of the track through the point makes the appearance better.
