    Sunday drivers!! Arr.......... Why drive a new dark grey car, on a country lane (with ice and fog) at less that 10 mph, just as it's getting light and not put any of your lights on? The two old dears then parked outside the church. Are they in a rush to meet god personally?

    I see that Railway Herald are reporting that we are getting proper trains back in Cumbria http://railwayherald.com/uknews/loco-hauled-services-to-return-to-the-cumbrian-coast I can't wait to see a DRS set with kevpeo's microphones attached! Still it will be nice to see them out on the coast line in summer Ian

      Don't do A & E do the out of hours service.....no drunks. This could be a brute of a virus mate but I hope it really is only man flu. Brandy and Paracetamol and plenty of fluid.

    No Sir, this is a real hospital not Holby City, this is how it's done, they are actors. Yes Sir I do know what I am doing that is why I am empolyed here. Sorry Sir I forgot to ask, just what it is you do for a living as I am not to sure that a professional patient is a living!!!

    Wow. Check out James Harrison's blog entery! He's rebuilding me with pop valves and coal rails. He does state I was original a good model but he could do better. Thanks James

      At one per day I will last into January, but once I start the remainder my just start playing the game properly! Then again I only week 3 days a week, so that's two a day!!!

    Well. It has been just over 5 months since I posted anything about my layout..... But now that I have some room to work.... I have decided to work on one board at a time, not to sure how this will pan out? Over the last few weeks I have been doing a bit as and when I can, so the results so far The soil area that appears out of the hillside (left hand side of the valley) under the bridge in the first photo, is to be a small stream, with a road and farm track on the right. A path for the cattle will come down from the cattle dock to an area by the bottom of the bridge to be loaded into road vehicles. The road will continue up the other side of the valley. Where it goes, and to what it goes to, I don't yet know! The cattle dock needs a bit of work to finish it off and some of the track needs to be weathered....... At least I get to play trains on Saturday! Ian

    What is going on here? I have got tea ready just to turn on, done a bit of cleaning, and am now starting the ironing! OK yes, I trained as a chef, but not a domestic godess. And if my wife happens to tread this I would just like to say....... I dead!
