Any thinner/IPA will have a tendency to attack the finish of a loco, the trick is to just wipe a small amount on and then straight off, in this instance it's a surface cleaner.

I thought the rodding and channeling came in 20' maximum lengths, ( I stand to be corrected by someone who knows what they are talking about!), therefore a longer length will need cutting and jointing anyway, so the 300mm lengths are ok?
