    According to Companies House, it is still going as a Dormant Company, they have the 1898 incorporation document (from when it changed to Sir) As he died in 1919 its interesting that his company continued into the 1930s but then disappeared.

    Tretrapaks (the tetrahedral ones) started being used in France in 1954. Tetra Briks didn't come until 1964

    I have a simlar thing with Ryvita, I made a sandwich of two them and little curl of butter came through a hole. Despite the fact that I knew a couple of seconds later it wasn't a maggot it's put me off them for life. Not that I'm missing much.

    I bought one when I bought the SDS drill and have never used it. For drilling wood etc I prefer to use my old drill or a cordless one as the SDS one is big and heavy. Its been brilliant for chasing out cable runs and socked holes in walls tho, which is what I got it for.

    Its kinda wierd to look at the K&WV preserved railway photos and think that the people hadn't dressed up in period costumes.

    Funny cos as an EMR user I find them reliable (main exceptions being infrastructure issues) and often half empty. I can quite often get a bay of four to myself. However the pride in their service seems to have dropped drastically since EMT days, with their crappy half a job paint/vinyl schemes and dirty trains.

    To add to this, something that won't be part of your layout, so you don't feel the temptation to modify it to suit a particular prototype or date. Maybe something that doesn't even exist, so it can't be wrong.

    I know you asked this question ages ago, but could the top of the backscene curve into a partial 'roof' that makes the sky seem to go up further for short viewers, without actually raising the height of it?

    BR Mk 1 BG Its a TOPS code, N is for Non passenger carrying coaching stock and the A is Air braked Like the NEA, but maintained for 110mph running (with the Mk 3 sets on the WCML pre DVTs) Bachmann made one in OO 39-180
