They are only 100 each on my screen!

Keith

The 3 should have been a £ - £100 not 3100 - I hadn't realised, I didn't press the Shift key properly!

Just what you were looking for.... (Be quick before someone snaps it up!)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-Dublo-Wagon-Wood-Load-Diecast-Very-Good-Condition-/301067788792?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item461909e1f8

It might be his (or her) idea of "very good condition", but broken couplings and badly chipped paint isn't mine! Two bits of wood as a load do not impress much either.

The seller also has a rather beat up Dublo N2 tank to go with it.

No comment on the prices.......

Some of them are £175 (the 'very rare' ones - i.e. the ones which only come up on ebay once a fortnight or so as opposed to most weeks).

I notice that the condoms aren't 'rare', which is probably just as well as otherwise there would be too many unintended babies around!

???????????????

I assume it's a typo, as the seller has others at £6.99 but "motor" and "rubs OK"?

EDIT should be 'runs' not 'rubs' (finger trouble!)

AND, no, it doesn't fit anything else - only Dublo N2s, not even Wrenn ones.

What posesses people to put collections likie this on ebay for sale at a starting price of 100 sovs for just a ONE DAY listing?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hornby-Train-Collection-/321314395303?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item4acfd494a7

The key part of the listing being "Will sell trains individually if contact me".

More fee avoidance.

Am I missing something?!  He has a long list of EWS type 5s at £100 each BIN!  A tad optimistic?!

Some of his GNER Mark 3 stock is so rare, he has two of the same ones!

Whats Finescale about this pile of sh1te.

Reminds me of the song, 'Three wheels on my wagon and I'm still rolling along. The Cherokees are chasing me. Arrows fly. Right on by. But I'm singing a happy song! I'm singing a happy song'.

Upgraded with weathering and real coal.   Presumably 'upgrading' is a similar euphemism to the 'upgrading' the Cybermen do on Doctor Who?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WRENN-W5026-16t-Mineral-Wagon-in-BR-grey-weathered-real-coal-load-/181316008227?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item2a3746b923

A pity, as left alone it might be worth something as a collectable, but in this condition, it requires decent burial.
