RMweb Gold Accurascale Fran Posted January 21, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 21, 2018 I'm sure many of you on here know what we're all about at this stage, but we explain a bit about ourselves in our first blog post that is now live if you're interested in knowing more https://accurascale.co.uk/who-are-accurascale/ Cheers! RMweb Gold MarshLane Posted January 22, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 22, 2018 Ok, so the blog page provides hints from the menu that the range will include Locos, Carriages and Wagons ... and that some of the accessories include containers - assuming that the Accurascale website is totally separate from IRM .. does that give us any hints If there were an 071 class available the IRM items may provide incentive for a small Irish layout, the wagons look lovely. But im assuming accurascale will be all GB based??? Rich
RMweb Gold Patrick Posted January 22, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 22, 2018 (edited) Ok, so the blog page provides hints from the menu that the range will include Locos, Carriages and Wagons ... and that some of the accessories include containers - assuming that the Accurascale website is totally separate from IRM .. does that give us any hints If there were an 071 class available the IRM items may provide incentive for a small Irish layout, the wagons look lovely. But im assuming accurascale will be all GB based??? Rich Murphy Models have produced a nice 071 in several liveries, so you really have no excuse. And yep, Accurascale is British outline. RMweb Gold Accurascale Fran Posted January 22, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 22, 2018 But does "UK outline" include Northern Ireland Railways? Accurascale is 4ft 8 and a half, IRM looks after the 5ft 3

Wickham Green
Incorrect. The correct answer is "should have selected P4" ...... but that's the same scale as 00 ....... er - gauge !

truffy
...... but that's the same scale as 00 ....... er - gauge ! Now you have it...I think. The irony being that Accurascale don't seem bothered by the difference between scale and gauge. RMweb Gold Accurascale Fran Posted January 25, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 25, 2018 (edited) Completed about a month ago ........................ we'll find out in a week if Accurascale had already taken heed of what I was going to say !!?! The survey results will not have a bearing on our first model announcement next week, but will have an impact on future announcements we make throughout 2018 and beyond... Now you have it...I think. The irony being that Accurascale don't seem bothered by the difference between scale and gauge. (#297 was especially for benefit of the OO-isn't-true-4mm-scale brigade) Ah lads, it took you nearly a month to notice that typo?? Almost as long as us! Amended now, thanks for that. As you will see next week we care a great deal between scale and gauge. Watch this space Edited January 25, 2018 by 071
