It's interesting really. I think I have bought 4 Bachmann ones since I bought my 4 Hattons ones, could have been from them had they been in the right livery or likely to be in once piece when they turned up.

I do think the market will keep buying 66s if people make them, look at how many Hornby get away with making.

Well getting to the end of the first run with only 16 of 66743 and 33 of 66623 and thats it.

See then what comes next or not as the case may be.

Last orders on 66743 seems to be down to 12

Looks like you have a Hattons 66 virus too!  Nice not to be the only one......  Apparently it don't spread as easy as Covid!

Good for Advenza or DRS respray. (if a 66/4 goes into new DRS livery this could be a good base).

I don't think that the light clusters on 66623 chassis works for an original wipac version do they?  If you filled the small side lights would that work for the updated lights on a 66/0 version though if you just took the mid body steps out? Just a thought.

I think theres a bit more to it than that.

66623 has LED Wipac not the original 66/0 clusters.

Hattons made 3 different light clusters.. Original, LED Wipac and Large Headlight.
The latest version isnt one of them..

but removing the mid body steps, still leaves the door, and potentially the wrong fuel tanks…

As always research the prototype.

Body side grill is different as well.

I've got two of Hatton's Class 66's, EWS 66005 and GBRf 66743 in Royal Scotsman, and to be honest, really impressed with them.  I'm really hoping that Hatton's will be doing another run as those that are available, are getting thin on the ground.

@Hilux5972 your search is including pre owned. Do you get the same result when excluding pre owned?

Anyway, if Hattons are like Accurascale tbey will find some more at their next stock take lol :)

They are new the pre owned stuff always has a PO-**number after the product code and would be listed individually not have 6 in stock.
