There are two similar kits on E-bay, one by Mopok and one by MAJ kits.

MAJ were plastic.

cracked undercarriage frame - easily glued

So why don't they if it's such an easy repair?

It's possibly made from some evil form of plastic that doesn't like glue.

Or:

Repairing it may impinge upon the profit margin.

Anything can be "easily glued" in that any glue can be applied easily. If the glue bonds or not is another matter!  The vendor may not have a glue appropriate to the task so sourcing and applying it might not be cost-effective ie unprofitable*.

It may also be that the vendor is not skilled in doing such a task and realises that whatever they do would make matters worse!

* Just realised that I've echoed the comments made by MrWolf, though in more words...  🤪

I agree, but the comment says cracked undercarriage frame - easily glued, now if the seller doesn't know what sort of glue to use, how do they know that it is in fact "Easily Glued"? It's a case of desperately trying to convince a would be buyer that indeed it is "Easily Glued". I for one would hope that "Easily Glued", means that a common type of glue, should be capable of a decent repair, not some specialist glue, that needs to be searched out and purchased.

Or as The Johnster constantly tells us, the seller is holding in his hand, the "Chisel of Mendacity", or at least something, with a firm grip!

But Scjm is probably right - no interest in fixing at all.

"Easily glued" then becomes a vendors assertation as to the state of the item on offer, and if not true, then its grounds for a refund as "not as described".

Hmmmmmm....

brotherhood of mendacious chiselers?

Would that make them "Min-dacious chiselers"?

Not EBay but wonderfully presented - handy to have the bin bags ready

https://www.easyliveauction.com/catalogue/lot/65b44a19d2d5c3cd171636218a3eccea/0af8d24542e81eb9357e7ef448a6646f/general-antiques-interiors-lot-88/

Chances are that this entry will disappear as the auction is tomorrow - so here's the illustration of this fine antique which has the following description - 'A 2 piece model railway layout board with n gauge track, various accessories such as buildings and scenery'

Well, he appears very pleased to see someone!?

Wasn't Min a character referred to in the Goons? Or was that person female? Does that matter these days?

Min & 'Enery, Milligan and Sellars respectively, an elderly, deaf, and completely potty couple.

'Pull yourself together, Min, (she's a loose woman, you know...)'.
