No doubt the man has never heard of EM track or come to that, where to obtain it!

Don't think this will be going any fast, in any sense of the term.

He's got an 8F part completed too, which won't be moving any time soon either!!

There's an online model railway shop selling a "Hornby Dublo Fixed Uncoupler Rail" for £13.25 Buy it now (plus £15.99 postage) https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hornby-Dublo-Standard-Fixed-Uncoupler-Rail-3-Rail-00-New-Condition-1st-Post/123139139535?hash=item1cabaa27cf:g:L5UAAOSwC6da~ZY1. It's actually a half length track with roadway for use in a level crossing.  If someone buys this and tries to uncouple their stock on it, they're in for a bit of a disappointment......

A bit late now, but it is still on sale (reduced to £11.26). At that price it's likely to remain so. IIRC the last one I bought was 50p. Granted that this doesn't include RM's exorbitant charges but....

Looks more like Exactoscale EM track to me, a world of difference some would say but still pricey.

How much?  did the guy sneeze as he entered in the amount that he wanted?

£22 per axle times 6 = £132.

No two year wait. That should be in the Bargain Hunters thread. We aren't talking toy trains here.

Good point. I think I assumed 6 wheels (3 axles) - who knows what goes on between my ears?

What's the  point of listing an item for next to nothing then

adding postage which puts at nearly double the new price.

Couldn't it have been sent well wrapped for letter post?

I quite like that although not sure about the livery. Presumably in this case ‘3 rail’ refers to a third rail prototype as they don’t look like ex-3-rail chassis underneath.

It is nicely done and clearly a bit of fun i like the fact that its a lone railcar and in Virgin livery as in it cannot pull!!!

Still nicely painted model

Try searching on "Hornby empty box" and then selecting "sold items" in your listing. Just amazed how many are bought ….

Hmmm, that is only £9 per car, is that too much? Note that I know next to nothing about N scale.

Because then people can put unboxed locos and stock in it and sell to collectors (claiming it’s ‘mint in box’ obviously) for an even more ludicrously high price...
