RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted September 17, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 17, 2017 For those who don't remember, that photo was taken on the Captain's layout, Bleakhouse Road , three years ago this weekend at RMweb live. That was the last show I did. Nothing planned for the moment, until 'Bethesda Sidings' is ready. I had banana, pear and apple crumble (gluten-free) for pudding this evening. RMweb Gold Popular Post gwrrob Posted September 18, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted September 18, 2017 (edited) Rob, I'm confused. There's been no instruction as to whether or not I should be offended by the last set of pannier photos. Confusion reigns again as I fast forward ten years or so to see 9678 on a branch freight. I'm just loving the bauxite.... Edited September 18, 2017 by gwrrob

RMweb Gold 81C Posted September 19, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 19, 2017 Loving the gaps around the number plate and the piston rod & crosshead that doesn't line up with the naff looking slide bars, shame the rest of the body looks nice. Oh, is this manufactured by DJM then? It seems to me (on this particular example, at least), that the cylinders should be angled down a little more. Certainly the cylinders/slidebars and piston/crosshead assembly should all be at the same angle, surely, and intersecting the centre of the middle axle?
